THE NEW ALBUM - "ALTERED IMPACT" - DROPS ON JANUARY 12, 2026

Project Rod Williams is the musical vision of songwriter, arranger, and producer Rod Williams. Recognized for a "collective" approach that unites diverse vocal talents with sophisticated production, the project is currently undergoing its most significant evolution yet.
Known for a foundation built on 1980s synth-pop textures and euphoric grooves, Project Rod Williams is now pivoting into a harder, more dynamic sonic landscape. 2026 marks the dawn of a new era: The Rock/Dance Evolution.
The Journey So Far
Since the release of the debut album Fire (2018/2019), Rod Williams has established a reputation for "clever technical production" and songwriting that bridges eras. Early anthems like "Let's Get Out" (feat. Ben Dial) and the album Run Away (2021) showcased a knack for fusing social issues with electronic dance-pop music.
Through the early 2020s, the project remained prolific. Releases like Spin Me (2020) and the maxi-single Fantasy (2022) solidified the project's signature sound. Recent collaborations with vocalist Tim Condor on tracks like "Like a Fool" (2024) and "Well Runs Dry" (2025) demonstrate a deepening maturity in sound design and emotional vocal delivery.
The New Era: 2026 and Beyond
Moving beyond the pure electro-pop roots, Project Rod Williams is expanding its palette to embrace the raw energy of Rock fused with the infectious rhythm of Dance. This genre-defying shift will be chronicled through an ambitious trilogy of albums set to define the coming year.
The roadmap for 2026 includes three major studio releases:
-
ALTERED IMPACT (January 12, 2026): The first chapter of the new sound, setting the stage with heavier instrumentation and driving beats.
-
INTENSE (March 17, 2026): A follow-up that promises to push the energy even further, exploring the peaks of the Rock/Dance fusion.
-
QUIVER (June 17, 2026): The trilogy's conclusion, cementing the project's transformation.
The genre may shift, but the commitment to high-caliber production and powerful hooks remains the heart of the music.
